Chhaava Box Office Collection Day 40 (Hindi): Starting 2025 with a bang, Rashmika Mandanna has made significant waves in the film industry, especially with her latest project, Laxman Utekar's Chhaava. This historical action drama, which casts her alongside Vicky Kaushal and Akshaye Khanna, has quickly climbed the ranks to become one of the year's most awaited films. The narrative of Chhaava is deeply rooted in the rich tapestry of Maratha history, drawing its story from the Marathi novel Chava by Shivaji Sawant and focusing on the life of Maratha King Sambhaji Maharaj.
Not only does the film star Rashmika Mandanna, Vicky Kaushal, and Akshaye Khanna in pivotal roles, but it also boasts an impressive ensemble including Ashutosh Rana, Vineet Kumar Singh, Diana Penty, and Divya Dutta. This wealth of talent has contributed to the movie's success, both in terms of its box office performance and the critical acclaim it has received. The film's engaging storyline, coupled with its grand fight sequences and the stellar performances by its cast, have ensured that Chhaava remains in the spotlight.
Chhaava has not only been a critical success but has also excelled at the box office, setting new records for the year 2025. It has outperformed other major releases, including Stree 2, Jawan, Pathaan, and Pushpa 2: The Rule, establishing itself as the highest-grossing film of the year. Now in its sixth week, the movie shows no signs of slowing down, continuing to captivate audiences and dominate the box office.

At a promotional event for the film Chhaava, Vicky shared his feelings of immense fortune and gratitude for being chosen to play the iconic role of Chhatrapati Maharaj. According to Vicky, Laxman's leadership qualities and serene demeanor played a crucial role in effectively bringing the story of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj to life, ensuring the team remained focused and respectful throughout the filming process.
The film's director, in turn, offered high praise for Vicky's portrayal of the revered king. He shared a memorable instance when Vicky, fully adorned in royal attire and armed with a sword, emerged from his vanity van. This moment, as described by the director, commanded immediate respect and silence from the over 1500 individuals present on set, mirroring the awe and authority that Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj himself would have commanded. The director compared Vicky's presence to that of a lion, a testament to the actor's impactful performance and the deep respect he garnered from the crew.
