The re-releases of films like Sanam Teri Kasam, Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani and the success of Chhaava have proved that no marketing gimmicks and PR activities are needed to make a film hit. If the content is good, the movie will resonate well with the audience.

CHHAAVA ENTERS RS 200 CRORE CLUB

It's time to send congratulatory messages to Maddock Films as their recent flick has emerged as the highest grosser of the year. Chava has successfully entered the coveted Rs 200-crore club on Wednesday (February 19), showcasing the strength of a well-crafted film. At a time when movies like Deva, Loveyapa, Emergency, Azaad, Badass Ravikumar have underperformed at the box office, Chhaava has been raking in big moolah even on weekdays.

Creating a new record in 2025, Vicky Kaushal's film minted over Rs 30 crore on its sixth day, taking its total box office collection to Rs 203.68 crore.

Bollywood critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared the detailed day-wise box office collection of Chhaava on Instagram and X. He mentioned that the period drama received a massive boost due to the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Jayanti holiday.

Taran Adarsh posted the day-wise earnings of the film on social media. He tweeted, "200 NOT OUT: 'CHHAAVA' IS SENSATIONAL... While Chhaava continued to roar like a lion, Loveyapa and Badass Ravikumar fizzled at the box office. Junaid Khan and Khushi Kapoor's film earned Rs 0.07 crore on Wednesday while Himesh Reshammiya's movie collected Rs 0.02 crore, as per Sacnilk.

It won't be wrong to say that Vicky Kaushal's Chhaava smashed the previous week's releases like a fly on the wall.
