Chhaava began its production back in April 2023. The movie is directed and co-written by Laxman Utekar. The dialogues in the movie is given by Rishi Virmani while the production is done by Dinesh Vijan. Chhaava is reportedly made on a budget of Rs. 130 to 140 Crore and the movie has already made over 2X of its invested amount. Chhaava stars Vicky Kaushal as Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, Rashmika Mandanna as Yesubai Bhonsale, and Akshaye Khanna as Aurangzeb.
