The period drama co-starring Rashmika Mandanna, Akshaye Khanna and Vineet Kumar has emerged as the highest-grossing Hindi film of the year, proving that good content will sell irrespective of the promotions.

Vicky Kaushal's epic period drama minted Rs 25.75 crore on Tuesday, taking its total box office collection to over Rs 170 crore. Bollywood critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared the latest collection of the film on his official X handle.

Adarsh mentioned that earning over Rs 20 crore on weekdays is a remarkable achievement.

Chhava is performing reasonably well in Maharashtra. Stating the same, Adarsh wrote, "#Maharashtra continues its historic run... The holiday on Wednesday [#ChhatrapatiShivajiMaharajJayanti] led to an escalation in evening and night occupancy across various centres on Tuesday, further boosting the film's incredible momentum. #ChhatrapatiShivajiMaharajJayanti holiday today [Wednesday] is expected to further boost its already massive total... Taran also shared the day-wise box office collection of Chhaava on social media. His post read, "#Chhaava [Week 1] Fri 33.10 cr, Sat 39.30 cr, Sun 49.03 cr, Mon 24.10 cr, Tue 25.75 cr. Total: ₹ 171.28 cr."

Interestingly, he revealed that Chhaava is set to cross the 200-crore mark on Wednesday after considering the current trends for the film.
