Chhaava Gross (India) Box Office Collection Day 28 Prediction: Vicky's Movie Set To Beat Stree 2 On 4th Thurs

Chhaava Gross (India) Box Office Collection Day 28 Prediction: Chhaava continues to roar in the box office even at the end of week 4 smashing the records of many other highest-grossing films in history like a fly. Earlier, Chhaava beat the records of films like Gadar 2, Baahubali: The Beginning, Salaar Part 1, Sultan, Sanju, among others, making the movie Vicky Kaushal's career's highest-grossing movie ever. The historical drama, which is based on the novel written by Shivaji Sawant of the same name, revolves around the life of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, who had a great contribution on protecting the Maratha empire against the brutal Mughal invasion.
Apart from the great adapted storyline, it's the stunning cinematography and the acting skills of the key characters which won the hearts of many viewers. Apart from Vicky, who plays the titular role, the movie also stars Rashmika Mandanna in the role of the Yesubai Bhonsale, the wife of Chhatrpati Sambhaji, who also played an important role in the strategic decision during Chhatrapati's reign. Chhaava consists of a talented ensemble cast featuring Ashutosh Rana, Diana Penty, Divya Dutta, among others.
The Laxman Utekar directorical movie has been the ultimate ruler of the box office in 2025 and emerged to be one of the greatest hits in recent times. However, it is yet to beat another marvel, Stree 2, which was also produced by Dinesh Vijan under the banner of Maddock Films, much like Chhaava. But on day 28, at the end of week 4, the movie is gearing up to beat Stree 2 in several parameters. Let us explain how:
Chhaava Gross (India) Box Office Collection Day 28 Prediction
On day 27, Chhaava earned Rs. 5.95 Cr gross at the domestic box office seeing 4% decline in collection compared to day 26 when the movie minted Rs. 6.2 Cr gross at the Indian box office. As of day 27, the India gross collection stood at Rs. 639.50 Cr. Seeing the decline in footfall morning and evening occupancy compared to yesterday, it can be projected that Chhaava will see another decline in collection on day 28, and the earning might stand somewhere between 5.2-5.7 Cr gross today, making the total collection at the end of day 28 standing at Rs. 644.7-645.2 Cr gross.
Chhaava Set to Beat Stree 2's Record On Day 28
Stree 2, on the other hand, collected Rs. 640.40 Cr gross at the domestic box office till day 28. In order to beat its collection, the movie needs only Rs. 90 lakhs on day 28, which the historical drama will be able to meet swiftly. Thus, Chhaava will definitely surpass Stree 2's India gross collection on day 28.
Recently Rishi Virmani, the screenwriter of Chhaava, told Zoom Entertainment upon asked why Katrina Kaif, Vicky's wife, wasn't taken as Yesubai Bhonsale. "Actors or actresses carry a baggage behind them. When you see Salman Khan, you expect something from him. You already see him shirtless and fighting baddies. Your brain gives those flashes," further adding, "If you see Vicky and Katrina, there are chances you would get lost in their present chemistry. I can't show things that can take you somewhere else. I am seeing a recently married couple on screen and then seeing two children next to them who are older, I don't think I can associate that part of the story as an audience. They got married a few years ago. Casting for such roles is not easy."
However, lauding Vicky's versatility, Rishi said, "If you see Vicky Kaushal, you don't see any other characters of his. When you're watching Chhaava, you don't remember Sam Bahadur. He makes every role so interesting that you just see that character. He can do this on his own. You can have an actor next to him who is doing the same because she has come from a different background. When you see Rashmika Mandanna there, she will not remind you of her previous characters. One just gets lost in her eyes."
Rishi concluded saying, "With Katrina, I'll have different thoughts because I know who they are. Celebrities have an open life on Instagram, everyone knows what they are doing. I don't know whether it's a good idea to cast Vicky and Katrina in a film like Chhaava."
