Chhaava Worldwide Box Office Collection Day 29: Breaking through recent box office dry spells, "Chhaava" has made a significant splash, with Vicky Kaushal leading the charge. This historical epic, under the guidance of director Laxman Utekar and producer Dinesh Vijan, has captured the audience's interest with its riveting storyline and stellar cast performance. The film's acclaim is spread across a talented ensemble including Rashmika Mandanna, Akshaye Khanna, Diana Penty, Vineet Kumar Singh, Divya Dutta, and Ashutosh Rana, whose performances have been widely praised.
In portraying the narrative of Maratha King Sambhaji Maharaj, "Chhaava" delves deep into a pivotal era of Indian history. The king's valiant efforts and strategic battles against Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb form the crux of the story. The film is an adaptation of Shivaji Sawant's Marathi novel "Chhava," with Vicky Kaushal embodying the spirit and valor of Sambhaji Maharaj. According to a report published in Sacnilk, Chhaava has been maintaining a decent hold at the worldwide box office and minted Rs 1.5 crores in the overseas market on day 29 (fifth Friday) following which the overall overseas collection turned out to be Rs 89 crores. On the other hand, the worldwide collection of the film stands at Rs 741 crores

Interestingly, with an overseas collection of Rs 1.5 crores, Chhaava has recorded the highest day 29 collection of 2025 in the overseas market.
Meanwhile, talking about Chhaava at a promotional event, Vicky stated, "Mere liye mera saubhagya hai ki mujhe Chhatrapati Maharaj ka role nibhaane ka mauka mila. I am very grateful to Laxman Utekar and Dinesh Vijay Sir for choosing me for this role. Hamari ek hi koshish hai ki Maharashtra mein to sabko pata hai, bacche-bacchon ko pata hai. To note, Chhaava also marks Vicky's second collaboration with Laxman Utekar after their 2023 release Zara Hatke Zara Bachke.
