Chhaava Worldwide Box Office Collection Day 30: In a remarkable portrayal of Maratha King Sambhaji Maharaj, the film "Chhaava" has brought to life the historical of his confrontations with Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb. The story, deeply rooted in a significant chapter of Indian history, showcases the king's strategic prowess and courage. This cinematic piece is an adaptation of Shivaji Sawant's esteemed Marathi novel "Chhava," with Vicky Kaushal stepping into the shoes of Sambhaji Maharaj, bringing authenticity and vigor to the portrayal. According to a report published in Sacnilk, Chhaava was seen slowing down in the overseason market and minted Rs 20 lakhs in the overseas on day 30 (fifth Saturday) following which the overall overseas collection turned out to be Rs 89.20 crores. On the other hand, the worldwide collection of the film stands at Rs 750.5 crores

Chhaava Surpasses 2.0 Lifetime Worldwide Collection

Interestingly, Chhaava has managed to surpass the lifetime worldwide collection of Akshay Kumar and Rajinikanth starrer 2.0 which had made a collection of Rs 744.78 crores.

Meanwhile, talking about Chhaava at a promotional event, Vicky stated, "Mere liye mera saubhagya hai ki mujhe Chhatrapati Maharaj ka role nibhaane ka mauka mila. I am very grateful to Laxman Utekar and Dinesh Vijay Sir for choosing me for this role. Hamari ek hi koshish hai ki Maharashtra mein to sabko pata hai, bacche-bacchon ko pata hai. Par poori duniya mein, ghar-ghar mein bacche-bacchon ko pata lagna chahiye ki humare raje kaise the". To note, Chhaava also marks Vicky's second collaboration with Laxman Utekar after their 2023 release Zara Hatke Zara Bachke.

He also lauded Laxman and told Pinkvilla, "He has been so focused on making the film right, that whenever there is a problem, he will say 'We will try to find a solution together', with that calmness, with that composure, with that love for the team. Everyone on the sets got so emotionally involved with showing the glory of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, because he remained calm. I have no clue how he manages it, but he manages to do it. That's the kind of person he is".

Meanwhile, the ace filmmaker lauded Vicky's aura and stated it was unmatched as Chhatrapathi Sambhaji Maharaj and left everyone in absolute awe on the sets. He said, "There were 1500 people on our sets. Even when there is a little chaos, when Raaze got out of his vanity, it felt as though a lion is coming. When we used to see him in Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj's costume with that sword, everyone would stand in attention. No one had the guts to say anything to him because he was Raaze to us and he still is. When he got out of his vanity, the entire crew would become quiet. That's his aura".
