Chhaava Worldwide Box Office Collection Day 32: Vicky Kaushal's Film Beats RK's Animal On 5th Mon, Here's How

Chhaava Worldwide Box Office Collection Day 32: Chhaava has been roaring at the box office ever since it was released surpassing the collections of highest-grossing movies out there like Sultan, Jailer, Baahubali: The Beginning, Gadar 2, PK, among others. After beating the collection of these legendary films, the historical drama, starring Vicky Kaushal, is now eyeing to enter into the list of top 10 highest-grossing film in Indian cinema. The movie is based on the novel of Shivaji Sawant in the same name, Chhaava, that tells the story of Maratha King Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. The film revolves around Chhatrapati's determination on not giving up in front the brutal Mughal force to protect his motherland.

Chhaava also stars Rashmika Mandanna as Yesubai Bhonsale, who played a key role in solidifying position of Chhatrapati in history. Other than her, the movie also stars Ashutosh Rana, Divya Dutta, Diana Penty, among others in key roles. Directed by Laxman Utekar, with whom Vicky has earlier collaborated in Zara Hatke Zara Bachke, the historical drama is bankrolled by Dinesh Vijan under the banner of Maddock Films.

On day 32, Chhaava has beaten the records of Animal in the worldwide box office. The Vicky Kaushal drama has surpassed the collection of Ranbir Kapoor starrer on 5th Monday. While Animal is the 9th highest grossing Indian film in history, Chhaava stands at 13th position. Will the latter be able to beat the crime drama? Well, only the time will tell.

Chhaava Worldwide Box Office Collection Day 32

Chhaava has earned 3.25 Cr on day 32 at the worldwide box office making the total worldwide collection Rs. 764 Cr. On day 32, Chhaava earned Rs. 10 lakhs only making the total overseas collection standing at Rs. 90.10 Cr. The total worldwide collection came after considering the overseas collection and the India gross collection of Rs. 673.90 Cr. On day 32, the movie has seen -68.29% dip in the worldwide collection compared to day 31 when the movie minted Rs. 10.25 Cr worldwide and Rs. 80 lakhs from the overseas. Despite seeing a negative growth in collection, the movie has surpassed the collection of Animal on day 32.

Chhaava Beats Animal On Day 32

While Chhaava earned Rs. 3.25 Cr worldwide on day 32, Animal minted Rs. 2.75 Cr on day 32. Although Animal's total worldwide collection was way more than Chhaava, in terms of day 32 collection alone, it is Chhaava that earned big. On day 32, Animal's collection stood at Rs. 893 Cr. However, in terms of overseas collection, Animal beat Chhaava, as Vicky's movie earned Rs. 10 lakh on day 32, while Animal earned Rs. 1 Cr on day 32.

Chhaava has also changed the career trajectory of Vicky Kaushal after the movie became Vicky's career's highest grossing film. On the work front, Vicky Kaushal is now in talks for the next with Kabir Khan, recently, in an interview with News18 Showsha, Kabir said about the project, "Vicky is one of the finest actors that we have. He's family to me. I'm extremely close to both Vicky and Katrina. So, I would love to work with him. At the end of the day, we as directors and actors, keep discussing ideas. There's nothing concrete right now that can make me say that yes, we're doing something together. But yes, I've been speaking to him," he said.

If the movie happens, this might be the first onscreen collaboration of Vicky with wife Katrina Kaif.
