According to a report published in Sacnilk, Chhaava has been maintaining a steady hold in the overseas market. The movie, which earned Rs 15 lakhs on day 33 (fifth Tuesday), minted Rs 10 lakhs in the overseas market on day 34 (fifth Wednesday) following which the overall overseas collection turned out to be Rs 90.35 crores.

Meanwhile, talking about Chhaava at a promotional event, Vicky stated, "Mere liye mera saubhagya hai ki mujhe Chhatrapati Maharaj ka role nibhaane ka mauka mila.
