Chhaava Worldwide Box Office Collection Day 21: Laxman Utekar's latest directorial Chhaava has captured the essence of a significant period in Indian history, focusing on the life and struggles of Sambhaji Maharaj as he faced off against Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb. This historical drama not only highlights a crucial chapter of the Maratha empire but has also been lauded for its engaging storyline and stellar performances, propelling it to blockbuster status across India.

The film's critical success can largely be attributed to its talented ensemble cast. Vicky Kaushal, in the lead role, brings to life Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj with a compelling portrayal that anchors the film. Chhaava has been struggling at the box office in week 3, however, it did manage to end week 3 on a decent note. According to a report published in Sacnilk, Chhaava made a collection of Rs 1.5 crores in the overseas market on day 21 (third Thursday) which took the overall overseas collection to Rs 81.5 crores. On the other hand, the worldwide box office collection of Chhaava stands at Rs 659 crores after day 21 (week 3) of release

Chhaava Beats Singham Again In Overseas Market

Interestingly, Chhaava has managed to surpass the overseas collection of Ajay Devgn's Singham Again. For the uninitiated, Singham Again had made a lifetime collection of Rs 75 crores in the overseas market.

It is worth mentioning that given the stupendous success of Chhaava, the movie is now being dubbed in Telugu language. While Chhaava's Telugu trailer was released on March 3, the dubbed version has hit the screens today on March 7 and opened to a decent response from the audience.

Meanwhile, talking about Chhaava at a promotional event, Vicky stated, "Mere liye mera saubhagya hai ki mujhe Chhatrapati Maharaj ka role nibhaane ka mauka mila. I am very grateful to Laxman Utekar and Dinesh Vijay Sir for choosing me for this role. Hamari ek hi koshish hai ki Maharashtra mein to sabko pata hai, bacche-bacchon ko pata hai.
