Chhaava Worldwide Box Office Collection Day 3: Vicky Kaushal's latest biggie 'Chhaava' has taken the entire box office by storm. Based on the life of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, the Laxman Utekar directorial has swiftly entered to the Rs 100 cr-club within 3 days of its grand theatrical release. Chhaava Opening Weekend Box Office Collection

Produced by Maddock Films, Chhaava sees Vicky Kaushal stepping in to the shoes of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, the eldest son Maratha ruler Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. The National Award-winning actor's performance in the Hindi-language period-drama has been receiving an overwhelming amount of love and appreciation from all around the world.

Amid strong pre-release buzz, Chhaava opened to a massive opening of Rs 31 cr, as per Sacnilk, becoming the highest opening Hindi film in 2025 so far. With Chhaava, Vicky also recorded his biggest opener of his nearly a decade-long career. Due to the positive word-of-mouth, the film witnessed impressive jump in numbers on Saturday (day 2) and added Rs 37 cr. According to Sacnilk, the film had its highest hike (as of now) on Sunday and netted around Rs 48.5 cr yesterday, touching a total nett collection of Rs 116.50 cr in 3 days.

As per the trade tracker website, Chhaava grossed around Rs 164.75 cr worldwide by the end of its opening weekend with an estimated overseas collection of Rs 25 cr.

Did Chhaava Surpass Uri's Lifetime Collection In Opening Weekend?

As of now, Uri: The Surgical Strike (2019) marks the highest-grossing film in Vicky Kaushal's career. However, Chhaava seems to be on its way to dethrone Uri and hold the record. After a roaring first weekend, Chhaava worldwide figures have already crossed more than 50% of Uri's lifetime figure. As per Bollywood Hungama, Uri had grossed around Rs 245.36 cr (lifetime) during its theatrical run.
