After his stint in Azaad, Raid 2 and Son of Sardaar 2, Ajay came with the much talked about De De Pyaar De 2 and the fans couldn't keep calm. For the uninitiated, De De Pyaar De 2 is the much talked about sequel to the 2019 release De De Pyaar De. Directed by Anshul Sharma, De De Pyaar De 2 is a romantic comedy which also features Rakul Preet Singh, R Madhavan, Gautami Kapoor, Jaaved Jaaferi, Meezaan Jafri, Ishita Dutta, and Janki Bodiwala in key roles.

Written by Luv Ranjan and Tarun Jain, De De Pyaar De 2 features Ajay Devgn and Rakul Preet Singh reprising their roles as Ashish Mehra and Ayesha Khurana and started exactly where the first installment ended. Interestingly, apart from Ajay and Rakul's chemistry, the Singham actor's camaraderie with R Madhavan has also been the talk of the town. Interestingly, with an opening day collection of Rs 8.50cr, De De Pyaar De 2 has managed to beat Son of Sardaar 2 on its opening day. For the uninitiated, the latter had made an opening day collection of Rs 7.25cr

De De Pyaar De 2 Box Office Collection Day 2 Prediction

Given the fact that the weekend has begun, De De Pyaar De 2 is expected to see a hike in numbers today (day 2/ first Saturday). The movie is likely to mint around Rs 10-12cr and will be crossing Rs 20cr in two days.

Meanwhile, Tabu, who had a significant role in the film "De De Pyaar De," has been missing in its sequel and this did grab a lot of eyeballs. Co-producer Luv Ranjan shared insights about the potential for a third installment. He stated, "Hopefully, a third part will happen. In the first part, we went to the man's house. Now, we've gone to the girl's house. If everything goes well, then we'll also make both families meet."
