De De Pyaar De 2 Box Office Collection Day 7 Early Update

De De Pyaar De 2 Box Office Collection Day 7 Early Update: After years of anticipation, Ajay Devgn's 2019 hit De De Pyaar De finally returned to the big screen with its sequel - De De Pyaar De 2, which released last week. But unlike the first instalment that charmed audiences and earned strong numbers, the sequel has been struggling to leave a significant imprint at the box office. Directed by Anshul Sharma, the film arrived in cinemas on November 14 amid sky-high expectations, fuelled by the goodwill of the original and Devgn's massive fanbase.

De De Pyaar De 2 Box Office Collection Day 6 (First Wednesday)

Ajay Devgn and Rakul Preet Singh reprise their beloved characters, bringing back the familiar equation from De De PYaar De (Part 1). Adding freshness to the sequel, De De Pyaar De 2, are new cast members - R. Madhavan, Gautami Kapoor, Jaaved Jaaferi and Meezaan Jafri - each contributing new layers to the family-entertainment setup. The film was promoted as a light-hearted, modern rom-com with a blend of humour and emotional drama, hoping to recreate the magic of its predecessor.

After kickstarting its theatrical journey with Rs 8.75 cr, as per Sacnilk, DDPD2 went on to record an impressive jump on the opening weekend. However, the film was hit by a slump on weekdays. As updated by the same trade tracking site, the movie saw a 33.33% drop in numbers yesterday (Wednesday) and netted around Rs 3.5 cr, taking the overall 6-day numbers to Rs 47.75 cr.

Day 1 [1st Friday] - ₹ 8.75 Cr
Day 2 [1st Saturday] - ₹ 12.25 Cr
Day 3 [1st Sunday] - ₹ 13.75 Cr
Day 4 [1st Monday] - ₹ 4.25 Cr
Day 5 [1st Tuesday] - ₹ 5.25 Cr
Day 6 [1st Wednesday] - ₹ 3.5 Cr
Total Net Collection - ₹ 47.75 Cr

De De Pyaar De 2 7 Days Collection Early Trend (Week 1)

Although De De Pyaar De 2 opened to decent buzz and favourable reactions from the audience, the same energy hasn't translated into numbers at the ticket window. The film faced a lukewarm start and has continued to show slow movement throughout its first week, raising concerns about its box office trajectory. Despite the presence of big names and a fan-friendly genre, the sequel hasn't been able to deliver the strong footfalls many expected.

As the film completes its first week in theatres today, all eyes are now on whether it can hold steady over the weekend or find a second wind through word of mouth. With competition rising and audience expectations evolving, De De Pyaar De 2 still has a chance - but it needs a solid boost to turn the tide in its favour.

According to the real-time Sacnilk data, Ajay Devgn's De De Pyaar De 2 is continuing its slow run today (Thursday, Nov 20) as well. Till 4:45 PM, the sequel has managed to earn ₹ 1.14 cr (approx.). As of now, the total numbers are estimated to be at ₹ 48.89 cr, inching closer to the ₹ 50 cr-mark. Given the current buzz, the film might be able to cross ₹ 50 cr today, in its first week. To note, DDPD 2 need to earn around 2.25 cr today (day 7) to hit Rs 50 cr by EOD.
