According to a report published in Sacnilk, De De Pyaar De 2, which recorded an occupancy of 7.46% during morning shows, saw a slight hike in footfalls during the evening show and recorded an occupancy of 12.80% on day 1

Interestingly, De De Pyaar De 2 has been struggling at the box office on the opening day. After failing to clock Rs 1 cr during morning shows (until 12 pm), De De Pyaar De 2 failed to rake in Rs 5cr until 7 pm from the evening shows. In fact, the movie's collection stands at Rs 4.43cr at 7 pm

Meanwhile, as Tabu, who played a lead role in De De Pyaar De, is not a part of De De Pyaar De 2, co-producer Luv Ranjan explained, "Hopefully, a third part will happen. In the first part, we went to the man's house. Now, we've gone to the girl's house. If everything goes well, then we'll also make both families meet".
