Deva Advance Booking Collection Day 1: Shahid Kapoor is one of the most versatile actors in the industry and there are no second thoughts about it. Give him any role and he makes sure to ace it to perfection - be it the boy next door, an obsessive love boy, the crazy drug addicted singer Tommy Singh and much more. And now, he is coming up with his new release and we can't keep calm. We are talking about Deva which is an action thriller and is helmed by Rosshan Andrrews.

To note Deva features Shahid Kapoor in the role of Dev Ambre, a ferocious cop, along with Pooja Hegde, Pavail Gulati, Kubbra Sait etc. The movie has been the talk of the town as it brings Shahid in a role of a deadly cop for the first time. This isn't all. Deva also marks the Bollywood debut of Malayalam filmmaker Rosshan Andrrews and Shahid's first collaboration with Pooja and Pavail. To note, Deva has managed to rake in Rs 58.57 lakhs in first 24 house of advance booking. This isn't all. So far, over 23 thousand tickets have been sold for Deva opening day.

Interestingly, despite a decent run Deva has managed to beat the first 24 hours advance booking collection of Kartik Aaryan starrer Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 which had released on Diwali 2024. For the uninitiated, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 had minted Rs 48 lakhs with the sale of around 17 thousand tickets in the first 24 hours. However., Deva failed to beat Game Changer (Hindi) which had minted 74.1 lakhs from advance booking for the first day in 24 hours with the sale of over 35 thousand tickets
