Deva Box Office Collection Day 6

Deva Box Office Collection Day 6: Shahid Kapoor's latest film, Deva, has sparked a wave of discussions and debates, placing the actor under the spotlight once again. In this action-packed thriller, directed by the talented Rosshan Andrrews making his Bollywood debut, Shahid portrays a fierce and impulsive police officer. Deva also introduces Pooja Hegde and Pavail Gulati alongside Shahid, marking their first project together. The anticipation for the movie was sky-high, thanks to a trailer that successfully stirred significant interest among moviegoers.

Deva is not just any film; it's a cinematic venture that undertakes the ambitious task of adapting Rosshan Andrrews' acclaimed 2013 movie Mumbai Police, which starred Prithviraj Sukumaran in the leading role. Shahid Kapoor, embodying the character of Dev Ambre, brings a unique blend of toughness and charisma to the screen. His interactions with Parvesh Rana, coupled with his on-screen chemistry with Pooja Hegde and the vibrant soundtrack, all contributed to Deva being pegged as a quintessential Bollywood entertainer. However, the movie opened to mixed reviews

Deva Mints Less Than Half Of Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya

With a collection of Rs 2.4 crores, Deva has failed to beat the first Wednesday (day 6) collection of Shahid's last release Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya. For the uninitiated, Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya had minted Rs 6.75 crores on its first Wednesday post release.

Meanwhile, talking about his physical transformation for Deva, Shahid told Zoom, "So, what I wanted to do with this character was, I didn't want to make him metrosexual, chiseled-no. I felt like he should look very rugged. In my head, I always thought he should be like a bulldog. "They're these broad-shouldered, stout beings. They don't have much hair, and they look tough. Aise lagta hai na, maar denge aise. Mera feeling wahi tha ki he should be this tough guy. They're raw, and they look strong. Jisko dekhke lagega, isse panga maat lo. Isse dur raho. Toh mujhe thoda woh vibe chahiye tha".
