Dhurandhar Box Office Collection Day 8: Ranveer’s Film Sees 32% Hike; Beats Pushpa 2 To Create A Huge Record

Dhurandhar Box Office Collection Day 8

Dhurandhar Box Office Collection Day 8: Dhurandhar is turning 2025 into a landmark year for Akshaye Khanna, Ranveer Singh and director Aditya Dhar. The espionage action thriller is reportedly the highest grosser yet for all three, underlining its strong box-office pull and reinforcing the film's status as one of the year's biggest Hindi releases. The success of Dhurandhar caps a strong run for Akshaye Khanna this year. Earlier in 2025, Akshaye Khanna drew praise for the Vicky Kaushal-led period drama Chhaava. Industry watchers now see Dhurandhar as extending that momentum, especially because Akshaye Khanna's main antagonist role has gained wide appreciation.

Backed by a star-heavy line-up including Ranveer Singh, Sara Arjun, Arjun Rampal, Akshaye Khanna and Sanjay Dutt, Dhurandhar entered cinemas with strong buzz. Positive word of mouth around Akshaye Khanna's villainous turn and Aditya Dhar's return has helped sustain audience interest, cementing its standing among 2025's major Hindi films. Dhurandhar brings together Aditya Dhar and Ranveer Singh for the first time on a feature film. The project is also Akshaye Khanna's first collaboration with Ranveer Singh, adding curiosity before release. Their pairing, supported by a strong ensemble, is seen as one factor behind the film's broad appeal.

Dhurandhar Beats Pushpa 2: The Rule On Day 8

With a collection of Rs 32cr, Dhurandhar has managed to beat Allu Arjun's Pushpa 2 which had raked in Rs 27cr on its 8th day of release. This isn't all. Dhurandhar has also managed to record the second highest 8 days collections of 2025 after Chhaava

Meanwhile, Hrithik Roshan reviewed Dhurandhar recently and wrote, "I love cinema, I love people who climb into a vortex and let the story take control, spin them shake them until what they want to say is purged out of them onto that screen. DHURANDAR is an example of that. Loved the storytelling. It's cinema. I may disagree with the politics of it, and argue about the responsibilities us filmmakers should bear as citizens of the world. Nevertheless, can't ignore how I loved and learnt from this one as a student of cinema. Amazing. Still can't get DHURANDHAR out of my mind. @adityadharfilms you are an incredible maker man. @ranveersingh the silent to the fierce what a journey and so damn consistent. #akshaykhanna has always been my fav and this film is proof why. actormaddy bloody mad grace, strength and dignity! But man @rakeshbhedi what you did was phenomenal.. what an ACT, brilliant!! A huge big round of applause for everyone especially the makeup and prosthetics dept! I can't wait for part 2!!!"
