Dhurandhar Box Office Collection Day 1 (Evening Trend): Aditya Dhar has returned to the director's chair after six years with the 2025 release Dhurandhar. The buzz follows the success of Aditya Dhar's 2019 release Uri: The Surgical Strike. To note, Dhurandhar is inspired by real-world tensions involving RAW and Operation Lyari in Karachi's Lyari neighbourhood. Early reports suggest a large-scale geopolitical thriller. Dhurandhar's plot takes cues from actual events linked to gangs and organised crime across the Pakistan border.

Interestingly, Dhurandhar is rooted in state-backed operations and India's external intelligence agency, RAW, giving the narrative a strong espionage backdrop and cross-border crime focus. For the uninitiated, Dhurandhar also marked Aditya Dhar's first collaboration with Ranveer Singh, who plays the lead role. The ensemble includes Sanjay Dutt, Akshaye Khanna, R. Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, Sara Arjun, and Rakesh Bedi. Their presence signals a star-heavy canvas for the director's return. Interestingly, Dhurandhar has witnessed a thunderous star at the box office.

Dhurandhar Evening Occupancy Day 1

According to a report published in Sacnilk, Dhurandhar saw a slight hike in footfalls during the evening shows and recorded an occupancy of 35.99% on day 1. Interestingly, it has recorded the fourth highest evening occupancy for day 1 in 2025 after Saiyaara, Chhaava and Thamma

Interestingly, Dhurandhar has seen a growth at the box office on the opening day. After crossing Rs 3.76 cr during morning shows (until 12 pm), Dhurandhar has crossed Rs 200cr. In fact, the movie's collection stands at Rs 21cr at 7 pm and has managed to beat the opening day collection of Ranveer's Simmba.
