Dhurandhar Box Office Day 3 (Morning Trend): Ranveer’s Film Beats War 2 Footfalls; Creates NEW Record

Dhurandhar Box Office Collection Day 3 (Morning Trend): Spy thriller Dhurandhar has given Ranveer Singh his biggest opening yet, as the film pulls strong numbers and attention. The action drama also brings director Aditya Dhar back behind the camera after six years, adding to the buzz among cinema fans. Dhurandhar is written and directed by Aditya Dhar, whose last directorial project was Uri: The Surgical Strike with Vicky Kaushal. The new film teams Dhar with Ranveer Singh for the first time, making their creative partnership a major talking point.

Dhurandhar follows covert missions linked with India's intelligence agency, Research and Analysis Wing. The story is said to draw from real incidents, including geopolitical tensions and secret R&AW operations involving gangs and crime syndicates in Karachi's Lyari neighbourhood in Pakistan. The film features an ensemble cast, including Akshaye Khanna, R Madhavan, Rakesh Bedi, Sara Arjun, Sanjay Dutt and Arjun Rampal in key roles. Strong casting, high-stakes espionage plot and popular music have helped Dhurandhar become one of the year's most discussed releases so far. Interestingly, Dhurandhar has been going strong at the box office during the opening weekend.

Dhurandhar Morning Occupancy Day 3

According to a report published in Sacnilk, Dhurandhar, which recorded a morning occupancy of 17.26% on day 2, saw a hike in footfalls today. The movie registered a footfall of 27.28% during the morning shows on day 3 (first Sunday). In fact, it managed to beat War 2's occupancy on day 3 which was 16.27% and Dhurandhar recorded the third highest morning occupancy on first Sunday

Interestingly, Dhurandhar saw a good start at the box office today (Day 3/ first Sunday) and minted Rs 5cr from morning shows (until 12:30PM). As a result the total collection of Dhurandhar turned out to be Rs 65cr. Interestingly, as per film business expert Taran Adarsh, Dhurandhar is expected to rake in around Rs 95cr during the opening weekend.

Meanwhile, Yami Gautam penned a heartfelt note for Aditya Dhar post Dhurandhar release and wrote, "And it's DHURANDHAR DAY today !!!!
