Dhurandhar Box Office Day 4 (Morning Trend): Ranveer’s Film Sees 50% Dip In Footfalls; Fails To Beat Animal

Dhurandhar Box Office Collection Day 4 (Morning Trend): Spy thriller Dhurandhar has delivered Ranveer Singh's strongest opening so far, drawing big crowds and attention. The action drama also marks Aditya Dhar's return to direction after six years. Dhar writes and directs Dhurandhar, reuniting with audiences after Uri: The Surgical Strike with Vicky Kaushal. Dhurandhar's opening weekend box office performance stayed solid, reflecting strong word-of-mouth and audience interest. However, collections slipped on Monday, pointing to a more measured weekday trend. Even with the decline, trade circles note that the film remains one of the year's most closely watched releases.
Dhurandhar centres on covert Research and Analysis Wing missions tied to India's intelligence network. The narrative reportedly borrows from real events involving geopolitical tensions and clandestine R&AW operations. These missions deal with gangs and crime syndicates operating in Karachi's Lyari neighbourhood in Pakistan, giving the story a tense cross-border backdrop. The film teams Aditya Dhar and Ranveer Singh for the first time, making their collaboration a key draw. Dhurandhar features an ensemble including Akshaye Khanna, R Madhavan, Rakesh Bedi, Sara Arjun, Sanjay Dutt and Arjun Rampal. The combination of high-stakes espionage, popular music and recognisable faces continues to keep Dhurandhar in discussion.
