The Aditya Dhar directorial emerged as the highest-grossing Indian film of 2025, beating Kantara 2, Chhaava and Saiyaara. It later became the highest-grossing Bollywood film in terms of domestic box office collection, as it performed better than Jawan and Pathaan.
Dhurandhar continued its strong run at the ticket window, with the fourth weekend bringing more moolah for the producers. Dhurandhar Box Office Collection Day 24, Occupancy Trends
According to data reported by Sacnilk, Dhurandhar recorded a noticeable rise in business on day 23, the fourth Saturday. The film grew by over 36% compared with the previous day and earned Rs 20.5cr. This surge lifted Dhurandhar's cumulative box office collection to Rs 668cr after 23 days in cinemas across India.
On the fourth Sunday (December 28), the movie witnessed another jump and earned Rs 22.50 crore in India, taking the total collection to Rs 690.50 crore, as per Sacnilk.
Initial turnout on day 24 had earlier hinted that the movie would mint big moolah. Morning shows across territories recorded an occupancy of 26.31%. By 12:30 pm, Dhurandhar had already earned Rs 3.01cr, signalling a promising upward trend for the rest of the day, especially across evening and night screenings.

Dhurandhar brings Ranveer Singh back to theatres after a two-year gap, in a large-scale spy action drama. Written and directed by Aditya Dhar, the movie also features Sanjay Dutt, Akshaye Khanna, R. Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, Sara Arjun and Rakesh Bedi.
Following the success of Dhurandhar, the second installment was announced. Dhurandhar 2 will hit the silver screens on March 19, 2026.
