The spy action thriller opened strongly nationwide, posting the best first-day numbers yet for both Ranveer Singh and director Aditya Dhar, and early trade chatter reflects that surge. Dhurandhar sustained this energy beyond its launch, as reports indicate that Dhurandhar passed the crucial first Monday test comfortably. Collections stayed steady across key circuits, suggesting that audience interest is holding firm after the initial wave of curiosity.

Dhurandhar is written, directed and produced by National Award winner Aditya Dhar, who chooses a spy action thriller format. In fact, it has managed to beat the lifetime worldwide collection of Ranveer and Deepika Padukone starrer 83 which was around Rs 193cr and recorded Ranveer's 7th highest worldwide grosser for Gully Boy actor

Interestingly, Dhurandhar is expected to beat the lifetime worldwide collection of Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram-Leela (Rs 218.07cr). This isn't all. Dhurandhar will also beat the lifetime overseas collection of Uri: The Surgical Strike (Rs 48cr) and will emerge as Aditya Dhar's highest overseas grosser.
