Emergency Box Office Collection Day 4 Prediction: Kangana’s Film To See Huge Dip As It Inches Towards 13Cr

Emergency Box Office Collection Day 4 Prediction: The much-talked-about film Emergency, directed, written, and co-produced by Kangana Ranaut, has finally hit the screens. Featuring the multi-talented Kangana Ranaut in the lead role, this historical biographical drama dives into the life of India's former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi and the controversial period of the Indian emergency. The film has been on the radar of cinema enthusiasts since the release of its captivating trailer last year, stirring considerable debate and anticipation.
While Kangana got into the shoes of Indira Gandhi in Emergency, the movie also featured Anupam Kher steps into the shoes of Jayaprakash Narayan, with Shreyas Talpade bringing to life Atal Bihari Vajpayee. Additionally, Milind Soman takes on the character of Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw. The stellar lineup is further bolstered by Vishak Nair, Mahima Chaudhry, and Satish Kaushik, all of whom play pivotal roles in enriching the film's narrative. Opened to mixed reviews, Emergency saw a decent performance during the opening weekend at the box office.
Emergency Box Office Collection Day 3
After minting Rs 3.6 crores on day 3 (first Saturday), Emergency saw a hike in numbers yesterday. According to a report published in Sacnilk, Emergency raked in Rs 4.35 crores on day 3 (first Sunday) with a footfall of 18.96% which took the overall collections of the movie to Rs 10.45.
Emergency Box Office Collection Day 4 Prediction
Given the ongoing trend, Emergency is likely to see a drop in numbers today (day 4/ first Monday). The movie is likely to rake in Rs 2-3 crores and will be seen inching close to Rs 13 crores mark at the box office.
Meanwhile, Emergency is once again mired by controversy as Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) demanded a ban on the release in Punjab citing it might spark outrage in the Sikh community. SGPC president Harjinder Singh Dhami on Thursday wrote to Punjab chief minister Bhagwant Mann. This didn't go down well with Kangana who stated, "This is complete harassment of art and the artist, from Punjab many cities are reporting that these people are not allowing Emergency to be screened. I have utmost respect for all religions and after studying and growing up in Chandigarh I have closely observed and followed Sikh religion. This is a complete lie and propaganda to tarnish my image and harm my film #Emergency".
