Directed, written and co-produced by Kangana Ranaut herself, Emergency also features Anupam Kher, Shreyas Talpade, Vishak Nair, Mahima Chaudhry, Milind Soman and Satish Kaushik in pivotal roles.

To note, Emergency is a historical biopgraphical drama which is based on the late Indian prime minister Indira Gandhi and the Indian emergency era. The movie features Kangana in the role of Indira Gandhi, Anupam Kher as Jayaprakash Narayan, Shreyas Talpade as Atal Bihari Vajpayee, Milind Soman as Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw, etc. From the intriguing trailer to an impressive ensemble of cast, Emergency has managed to create a substantial buzz in the town and has left the fans wondering if it will be a hit at the box office.
