However, that did not happen. Despite a dip in earnings on Saturday and Sunday compared to the opening day, Empuraan still managed to gross a respectable amount over the weekend. Mohanlal's film experienced an overall increase of 3.02% in box office earnings across all languages. However, the film saw a significant dip in its Hindi-language performance. On Sunday (Day 4), Empuraan grossed only Rs. 0.25 Crore in Hindi, compared to Rs. 0.4 Crore on both Friday and Saturday. This resulted in a 37.5% drop in Hindi collections on Sunday compared to Saturday. As of Day 4, the total Hindi box office collection for Empuraan stands at Rs. 1.55 Crore.
