Ground Zero Morning Occupancy Day 1

Ground Zero Morning Occupancy Day 1: After a hiatus of one and a half years, Emraan Hashmi is making a much-anticipated comeback on the silver screen. In Ground Zero, Emraan Hashmi embodies the character of BSF officer Narendra Nath Dhar Dubey. This film highlights the daring operation led by Dubey that led to the elimination of Ghazi Baba, a feared terrorist also known by his real name, Rana Tahir Nadeem, in 2003. Directed by Tejas Prabha Vijay Deoskar, Ground Zero is produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar. The film boasts of a stellar supporting cast, including Sai Tamhankar and Zoya Hussain, who play significant parts alongside Emraan Hashmi.

Ground Zero Morning Occupancy Day 1

Kesari Chapter 2 Overshadows Ground Zero

As Ground Zero is facing tough competition from Akshay Kumar's Kesari Chapter 2: The Untold Story Of Jallianwala Bagh, the historical courtroom drama has managed to overshadow Emraan Hashmi starrer. For the uninitiated, Kesari Chapter 2, which is now in the second week, has recorded a morning occupancy of 6.39% today

Meanwhile, talking about Ground Zero and his character, Emraan stated, "There's an old phrase that sometimes truth is stranger than fiction and this phrase is appropriate for this film. I remember meeting Mr. Dubey, whose character I am portraying, for the first time. I remember telling him that his story is more filmy than a film. And it really is. Just like our brave BSF officers. The officer who all planned this and the encounter happened in 2003. It's nothing short of extraordinary and unbelievable"
