Housefull 5 Box Office Collection Day 7: Akshay Kumar has all the reasons to be on cloud nine these days. After all, his recent release Housefull 5 has been creating waves in the town ever since it was announced. Directed by Tarun Mansukhani, Housefull 5 is the fifth installment of the much successful Housefull franchise. Produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, Housefull 5 is a comedy drama with a twist of a murder mystery and has been making headlines for becoming the first movie to have two different climax.

Apart from Akshay, Housefull 5 also features Riteish Deshmukh, Abhishek Bachchan, Jacqueline Fernandez, Sonam Bajwa, Nargis Fakhri, Nana Patekar, Sanjay Dutt, Jackie Shroff, Fardeen Khan etc in the lead. The film centres on a murder mystery involving a billionaire, portrayed by Nana Patekar, who is killed on a cruise. The plot thickens as three individuals, played by Akshay Kumar, Abhishek Bachchan, and Riteish Deshmukh, pretend to be his heirs and become the main suspects in the investigation. Despite the trailer and impressive cast drawing significant attention, Housefull 5 received mixed reactions from both audiences and critics alike.

According to a report published in Sacnilk, Housefull 5 saw a dip of over 17% in numbers on the first Thursday. The movie minted Rs 7.04 crores on day 7 which took the overall collections of the movie to Rs 127.29 crores after week 1

Housefull 5 Records 2nd Highest Week 1 Collection Of 2025

With a total collection of Rs 127.29 croresin week 1, Housefull 5 has managed to surpass the week 1 collection of Raid 2 and Sikandar which happened to be around Rs 95.75 crores and Rs 97.75 crores respectively. This isn't all. Housefull 5 has recorded the second highest week 1 collection of 2025 after Chhaava.

Meanwhile, talking about Housefull 5 having two different climax during trailer launch, producer Sajid Nadiadwala stated, "I have been thinking about this idea for the past 30 years - how to create a thriller with an X factor that leaves the audience talking long after they leave the theatre. So I came up with a story where every theatre will have a different killer. So if you watch it at Gaiety, it'll have one killer. If you watch it at Galaxy, there'll be somebody else. In PVR screen number 4, you'll see a different killer, and in PVR screen number 5, yet another one. It's like every time you watch the film, you'll get a different ending".
