Housefull 5 Worldwide Box Office Collection Day 2: Akshay Kumar's latest film, Housefull 5, has been generating buzz since its announcement. Directed by Tarun Mansukhani and bankrolled by Sajid Nadiadwala, this comedy-drama is the fifth in the popular Housefull series. It also marks Akshay's sixth collaboration with Riteish Deshmukh, following their previous work in Heyy Babyy and earlier Housefull films that entertained audiences. Housefull 5 offers a unique mix of murder mystery and comedy and has been one of the most talked about releases of the year.

To note, Housefull 5 features an impressive cast including Abhishek Bachchan, Sonam Bajwa, Fardeen Khan, Nargis Fakhri, Jacqueline Fernandez, Nana Patekar, Chunky Pandey, Shreyas Talpade, Jackie Shroff, and Sanjay Dutt. Interestingly, Housefull 5 also marks the reunion of the Heyy Babyy trio Akshay, Fardeen and Riteish after 18 years. Released on June 6, 2025, it received mixed reviews from audiences worldwide and recorded the highest overseas collection of 2025.

According to a report published in Sacnilk, Housefull 5 made an overseas collection of Rs 11 crores on day 2 (first Saturday), following which the total overseas collection turned out to be Rs 22 crores and the overall worldwide collection of the movie stands at Rs 87 crores. Interestingly, it has surpassed the lifetime worldwide box office collection of Rajkummar Rao and Triptii Dimri starrer Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video which happens to be around Rs 58.03 crores.

Housefull 5 Records Highest Overseas Collection Of 2025 On Day 2

With an overseas collection of Rs 11 crores on day 2, Housefull 5 has managed to beat Vicky Kaushal starrer Chhaava and recorded the highest overseas collection of the year on day 2. For the uninitiated, Chhaava made a collection of Rs 8.4 crores on day 2 in the overseas collection.

Meanwhile, talking about Housefull 5 having two different climax during trailer launch, producer Sajid Nadiadwala stated, "I have been thinking about this idea for the past 30 years - how to create a thriller with an X factor that leaves the audience talking long after they leave the theatre. So I came up with a story where every theatre will have a different killer. So if you watch it at Gaiety, it'll have one killer. If you watch it at Galaxy, there'll be somebody else. In PVR screen number 4, you'll see a different killer, and in PVR screen number 5, yet another one. It's like every time you watch the film, you'll get a different ending".
