Housefull 5 Worldwide Box Office Collection Day 9: Akshay Kumar's fans have been delighted this year as the actor continues to impress with his diverse roles. Following the success of Sky Force and Kesari Chapter 2, he is now in the spotlight for Housefull 5. This comedy-drama, with a murder mystery twist, is directed by Tarun Mansukhani and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala. It marks the fifth installment of a popular franchise and has become one of the year's major releases.
Besides Akshay, Housefull 5 features an impressive ensemble cast including Nana Patekar, Riteish Deshmukh, Chunky Pandey, Fardeen Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, Jacqueline Fernandez, Sonam Bajwa, Nargis Fakhri, and Shreyas Talpade. The film received mixed reviews but was praised as a light-hearted entertainer. Notably, it achieved the highest opening for the franchise and ranked as the third highest opener of 2025. It also became Akshay's top opener for the year. Housefull 5 made a strong impact at the box office during its first week not just in India but also across the world. In fact, it started the second week with a bang as it entered the coveted Rs 200 cr club worldwide

According to a report published in Sacnilk, Housefull 5 has been going strong at the worldwide box office during the second weekend. The movie made a collection of Rs 1.1 crores in the overseas market and it took the overall overseas collection to Rs 49.1 crores. On the other hand, the total worldwide collection of Housefull 5 stands at Rs 220 crores after 9 days of release
Housefull 5 Beats Shaitaan's Lifetime Worldwide Collection
Interestingly, Housefull 5 has managed to beat the lifetime worldwide and overseas collection of Ajay Devgn's Shaitaan within 9 days of release. To note, Shaitaan minted Rs 37.5 crores in the overseas market and Rs 213.55 crores at the worldwide box office.
Meanwhile, talking about Housefull 5 having two different climax during trailer launch, producer Sajid Nadiadwala stated, "I have been thinking about this idea for the past 30 years - how to create a thriller with an X factor that leaves the audience talking long after they leave the theatre. So I came up with a story where every theatre will have a different killer. So if you watch it at Gaiety, it'll have one killer. If you watch it at Galaxy, there'll be somebody else. In PVR screen number 4, you'll see a different killer, and in PVR screen number 5, yet another one. It's like every time you watch the film, you'll get a different ending".
