Jaat Box Office Collection Day 4: Eighteen months after his absence from the cinematic world, Sunny Deol makes a striking comeback with the film "Jaat," closely following the success of "Gadar 2" which made a significant impact in 2023. The film not only marks the Bollywood introduction of Gopichand Malineni, famed for his achievements in Telugu cinema, but also promises an action-packed experience eagerly awaited by fans.
In the heart of "Jaat," Sunny Deol embodies the character Bhaskar Singh "Jaat," whose fate intertwines with a remote coastal village in Andhra Pradesh's Prakasam district. The plot thickens as Deol's character is drawn into local conflicts, setting the stage for a showdown with Randeep Hooda's character, Ranatunga. After witnessing a 39% hike in collections on first Saturday, Jaat saw another hike in numbers of 43% on day 4 (first Sunday). According to a report published in Sacnilk, Jaat recorded its highest single day collection as it minted Rs 14 crores. This took the overall collections of the movie to Rs 40.25 crores after four days of release
Jaat Opening Weekend Collection
Interestingly, Jaat recorded collection of Rs 9.5 crores on first Saturday and Rs 14 crores on first Sunday which made the total opening weekend collection of the movie to Rs 23.5 crores.
Jaat Surpasses Lifetime Collection Of Deva
Interestingly, with a total collection Rs 40.25 crores in four days, Jaat has managed to surpass the lifetime collection of Shahid Kapoor's Deva. For the uninitiated, Deva had made a lifetime collection of Rs 33.9 crores as quoted by Sacnilk
Meanwhile, Randeep, who will be locking horns with Sunny Deol in Jaat, admitted to be the latter's huge fan. During the promotions, Randeep stated, "I still remember that we used to have his posters in our cupboards stuck with toothpaste during school days and get inspired. I have always been a huge fan of Sunny Deol. Growing up, we admired his powerful screen presence, his intensity, and his physique. I still remember us having his posters in our school hostel cupboards, looking at them and getting inspired to lift weights and doing push ups".
