Jaat Box Office Collection Day 6: Sunny Deol's much-awaited return to cinema is marked by the action-packed film "Jaat," setting the stage for a thrilling narrative. This project not only signifies Deol's comeback after a one-and-a-half-year break but also showcases the Bollywood introduction of acclaimed Telugu director Gopichand Malineni. Their collaboration is expected to bring a fresh perspective to the action genre, building on the momentum of Deol's recent hit, "Gadar 2," in 2023. The plot of "Jaat" centers on the life of Bhaskar Singh "Jaat," played by the indomitable Sunny Deol, who becomes deeply involved in the affairs of a secluded village in Andhra Pradesh's Prakasam district. After seeing a drop of over 46% in numbers on the first Monday, Jaat saw another dip in collection on the first Tuesday. According to a report published in Sacnilk, Jaat made a collection of Rs 5.75 crores on day 6 (first Tuesday) which took the overall collections of the movie to Rs 53.25 crores
Jaat Mints 64% More Than Sikandar
As Jaat has been witnessing a frequent comparison with Salman Khan starrer Sikandar, this Sunny Deol starrer has managed to earn over 64% more than the latter. For the uninitiated, Sikandar had minted Rs 3.5 crores on the sixth day of release. On the other hand, Jaat failed to beat Akshay Kumar's Sky Force which had earned Rs 6 crores on day 6.
Meanwhile, Randeep, who will be locking horns with Sunny Deol in Jaat, admitted to be the latter's huge fan. During the promotions, Randeep stated, "I still remember that we used to have his posters in our cupboards stuck with toothpaste during school days and get inspired. I have always been a huge fan of Sunny Deol. Growing up, we admired his powerful screen presence, his intensity, and his physique. I still remember us having his posters in our school hostel cupboards, looking at them and getting inspired to lift weights and doing push ups".
