Jaat Box Office Collection Day 1: Sunny Deol has captivated audiences once again as he made a grand return to the cinema with his latest film, Jaat, after a hiatus of one and a half years. This film came on the heels of the success of Gadar 2, which was released in 2023 and was a massive hit. Jaat is particularly noteworthy as it marks the Bollywood debut of renowned Telugu director Gopichand Malineni, promising a blend of action and thrill that fans have been eagerly anticipating.

The storyline of Jaat unfolds with the protagonist, Bhaskar Singh "Jaat" portrayed by Sunny Deol, stumbling upon a secluded coastal village in Andhra Pradesh's Prakasam district during his travels. He quickly finds himself embroiled in the villagers' plight, who are being oppressed by a formidable criminal, Ranatunga, played by Randeep Hooda. Determined to fight injustice, Jaat decides to stand up against Ranatunga, setting the stage for an intense confrontation. Adding to the excitement, Jaat boasts a stellar cast, including Regina Cassandra as the female lead and Vineet Kumar Singh, Saiyami Kher, Ramya Krishnan, Jagapathi Babu among others, in supporting roles. Jaat Records Randeep Hooda's Highest Opening Ever

With an opening day collection of Rs 9.5 crores, Jaat recorded the third highest opening of 2025 after Vicky Kaushal's Chhaava and Salman Khan's Sikandar. This isn't all. It also recorded Randeep Hooda's highest opener ever.

Meanwhile, Randeep, who will be locking horns with Sunny Deol in Jaat, admitted to be the latter's huge fan. During the promotions, Randeep stated, "I still remember that we used to have his posters in our cupboards stuck with toothpaste during school days and get inspired. I have always been a huge fan of Sunny Deol. Growing up, we admired his powerful screen presence, his intensity, and his physique. I still remember us having his posters in our school hostel cupboards, looking at them and getting inspired to lift weights and doing push ups".
