Jaat Evening Occupancy Day 10: Sunny Deol's Film Beats Sikandar With 118% Hike In Footfall On 2nd Saturday

Jaat Evening Occupancy Day 10

Jaat Evening Occupancy Day 10: Jaat is one of the most awaited films of recent times with which Sunny Deol returns to the silver screen post Gadar 2's smashing success at the box office. The movie has had a face-off with Salman Khan starrer Sikandar, which was released on March 30, 2025. Although moviegoers were earlier skeptical about Jaat's performance and how it will be affected by Sikandar's presence at the box office, in real, the Sunny Deol rather has been working better at the box office than Sikandar.

Jaat, which is made with the budget half of Sikandar, has been inching closer to recover its budget on day 10. Whereas, Sikandar is yet to recover the budget of the film even on its day 21. Coming to the comparison on day 10 in terms of evening occupancy, the Sunny Deol multi-starrer is performing better than Salman Khan's movie in every aspect. Let's see how:

Jaat Evening Occupancy Day 10

Jaat has 17.80% footfall on day 10. It has seen a slight increase in the footfall on day 10 compared to day 9 owing to the weekend effect. However, in terms of morning and afternoon occupancy, Sunny Deol's movie has seen a decline in footfall. In morning shows, the footfall of the film was 7.70% on day 9 whereas on day 10, it was 6.34%. In afternoon shows, the movie has seen another decline on day 10 compared to day 9. On day 9, it was 17.73% occupancy while 14.72% occupancy on day 10.

Jaat Beats Sikandar On Day 10 By 118% Hike In Evening Occupancy

While Jaat has 17.80% evening occupancy on day 10, Sikandar has had only 8.16% evening occupancy on day 10, which means Sunny Deol's film beat Sikandar by 118% on day 10.

Earlier, Sunny Deol opened up about Jaat facing off with Sikandar, in an interview with Bollywood Bubble, Sunny reacts to Salman Khan's comment on not getting support from Bollywood when his films get release, the Jaat actor reponded, "I think, and at the end of the day, we are all human beings, right? Har aadmi ka apna-apna dhang hota hai, kaise nahi hai aur har aadmi chahta hai ki uske baare mein koi accha bole ya cheezein chalein (Every person has their own way of doing things, isn't it? And everyone wants others to speak good about them or see things go well for them). And there's no harm in saying so, right? But humare yahan kitni baar hum log kitni cheezein, anyway, wahan kahaan jaana (But here, many times, we...let's not get into that)."

Speaking about the equation among Bollywood actors, the Jaat actor said, "But I think everybody is fond of one another, aur kabhi-kabhi ho jaata hai, kahin kisse ho jaate hain, jahan ek doosre se thodi si ho jaaye (And sometimes it happens that certain things occur between people, creating a slight distance). But I'm sure no one holds negativity towards anyone. And Salman has been a guy who's always been supportive to everybody, and I'm sure all the actors who know him, all the colleagues - I think they are all very supportive of him. And that's the way life is; it's give and take. It can't be one-sided."

For the unversed, Salman Khan earlier said on the same topic on not getting support, "Unko aise lagta hoga ki zarurat nahi padhti mujhe, but sabko zarurat padhti hai. (They might feel I don't need it, but everyone needs support). Like Mohanlal's film, which was released today, I hope it is going well. My film is being released in two days. I think Jaat is coming, I guess. It's coming one week later. And the way Sunny is going, I think he is going to hit the ball out of the park. I have heard Mohanlal speak about it."
