Kannappa Box Office Collection Day 3 (Hindi): Vishnu Manchu’s Film Mints Over Twice Of Kuberaa On 1st Sunday

Kannappa Box Office Collection Day 3: Indian cinema fans are in high spirits as the much-awaited film Kannappa has finally hit theatres. Helmed by director Mukesh Kumar Singh and produced by Mohan Babu, this mythological devotional drama features Vishnu Manchu in the titular role. Interestingly, Kannappa boasts an impressive ensemble cast, including Mohan Babu, R. Sarathkumar, Arpit Ranka, Brahmanandam, Brahmaji, Siva Balaji, Kaushal Manda, Rahul Madhav, Devaraj, Mukesh Rishi, Raghu Babu, Preity Mukhundhan, and Madhoo.
For those unfamiliar with the story, Kannappa draws inspiration from the legendary devotee of Lord Shiva, celebrated in Hindu mythology for his unwavering faith. The excitement surrounding the film has been amplified by special cameo appearances from stars like Mohanlal, Akshay Kumar, Prabhas, and Kajal Aggarwal. With an engaging trailer and a star-studded lineup, Kannappa has been the talk of the town. Released in six languages-Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, Hindi, and English, the film, which had hit the screens on June 27, has garnered rave reviews from the audience in the Hindi market and has managed to make the cash registers ring in the north.

According to a report published in Sacnilk, Kannappa recorded its highest single day collection in the Hindi market on day 3 (first Sunday). The movie minted Rs 1.06 crores on day 3, which took the overall collections of the movie to Rs 2.51 crores
Kannappa Beats Kuberaa On Day 3
Interestingly, Kannappa has managed to beat Kuberaa with a collection over twice that of Dhanush starrer. For the uninitiated, Kuberaa had minted Rs 40 lakhs on day 3 in the Hindi market
Kannappa vs Maa: Who Won During The Opening Weekend?
It is important to mention that Kannappa has been witnessing a box office clash with Kajol starrer Maa. And while Kannappa has been getting a decent response from the audience in North it minted Rs 1.86 crores during opening weekend, it had failed to beat Maa which had minted Rs 7 crores on its first Sunday and Rs 13 crores during opening weekend.
Meanwhile, talking about Kannappa, Vishnu Manchu told Hollywood Reporter, "All versions tell us what Kannappa's story would've or coudld've been. But the last 30 to 40 minutes of any such film, which cover the portions of God testing him, would be similar because you'll have to follow what's in the scriptures. The most difficult part of doing the film was the fact that everyone knows the ending. The challenge was to see how to make audiences sit for the earlier two and half hours".
