Kannappa Box Office Collection Day 1 Prediction (Hindi): It's a big day for Indian cinema lovers as the much talked about film Kannappa has finally hit the screens today. Directed by Mukesh Kumar Singh, Kannappa is a mythological devotional film which is produced by Mohan Babu. The movie features Vishnu Manchu in the titular role along with Mohan Babu, R. Sarathkumar, Arpit Ranka, Brahmanandam, Brahmaji, Siva Balaji, Kaushal Manda, Rahul Madhav, Devaraj, Mukesh Rishi, Raghu Babu, Preity Mukhundhan and Madhoo in lead roles.

To note, Kannappa is based on the legend of Kannappa in Hinduism who is said to be a devotee of Lord Shiva. Interestingly, Kannappa features cameo by superstars like Mohanlal, Akshay Kumar, Prabhas and Kajal Aggarwal. The trailer and the cast, Kannappa has managed to create a massive buzz in the town. To note, Kannappa has been released in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, Hindi and English. Interestingly, Kannappa is expected to see a good start at the box office in Hindi

In an exclusive conversation with Filmibeat, film business expert Rohit Jaiswal stated that Kannappa is expected to mint Rs 50-70 lakh on the opening day in the Hindi market.

Kannappa To Beat Kuberaa On Opening Day

Interestingly, if the box office report turned out to be true, Kannappa is expected to beat Dhanush and Nagarjuna Akkineni starrer Kuberaa which had minted Rs 23 lakhs in the Hindi market on the opening day.

Meanwhile, talking about Kannappa, Vishnu Manchu told Hollywood Reporter, "All versions tell us what Kannappa's story would've or coudld've been. But the last 30 to 40 minutes of any such film, which cover the portions of God testing him, would be similar because you'll have to follow what's in the scriptures. The most difficult part of doing the film was the fact that everyone knows the ending. The challenge was to see how to make audiences sit for the earlier two and half hours".
