To note, Kapkapiii witnessed a box office clash with Sorraj Pancholi's Kesari Veer and Rajkummar Rao's Bhool Chuk Maaf. While Kesari Veer is likely to mint Rs 80 lakhs to 1 crore and Bhool Chuk Maaf is likely to mint Rs 3-3.5 crores, Kapkapiii is likely to face the wrath of the clash and will be the lowest opener today.

Meanwhile, Sonia Rathee, in a conversation with ETimes, spoke about working with Tusshar and stated, "Tusshar surprised me the most, he was so quiet and in his zone on set. But the way he could switch in and out of character, especially when he had to be intense or scary, was honestly fascinating. There's a certain discipline and ease he brings to the craft that really stayed with me".
