According to a report published in Sacnilk, Kesari Chapter 2 has managed to earn Rs 82.85 lakhs from advance booking in just 24 hours, with the sale of 24935 tickets.

Interestingly, Kesari Chapter 2 has managed to beat Kartik Aaryan's Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2's 24 hours collection from advance booking. For the uninitiated, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 had minted Rs 48 lakhs from advance booking in first 24 hours. While Kesari Chapter 2 is yet to touch Rs 1 crore mark, it will be interesting to see if it can beat the advance booking collection of Sky Force (Rs 3.78 crores).

Meanwhile, Akshay Kumar recalled shooting for Kesari Chapter 2 and stated, "Mostly actors use glycerin for their eyes to cry during film shoot. But, during the (emotional) scene and there is also a song...It is one of the most emotional song I have ever heard. The entire set was crying when we were picturing the whole scene"
