The patriotic drama, which marks Akshay Kumar's return after Sky Force, which was released earlier this year, is the sequel to Kesari (2019). The movie has seen a major hit on day 11 compared to day 10, when it earned Rs. 8.1 Cr while it has seen -66.05% dip in collection on day 11. However, on day 12, Kesari Chapter 2 is expected to mint more than what it earned on day 11, considering the increase in footfall on day 12 compared to day 11. The movie's collection might lie somewhere between Rs. 2.8-3.5 Cr on day 12, according to our prediction.

Kesari Chapter 2 To Cross THIS Mark Beating Jaat On Day 12?

It is for sure that Kesari Chapter 2 will beat Jaat, with which the movie had a face-off. On day 12, Jaat earned only Rs. 1.85 Cr, which Kesari will cross swiftly. Other than that, it is eyeing to cross Rs. 70 Cr on day 12, for which the movie needs to mint another Rs. 1.85 Cr before the box office closes at 10 pm, which the movie might be able to make.

In his latest interview, director Karan Singh Tyagi opened up about how they didn't have a name for a long time, then Akshay Kumar came to the rescue. Talking about Akshay Kumar's suggestion, he said, "I think it was a great suggestion. We unanimously jumped on the idea that Kesari Chapter 2 is indeed the perfect title. For us, Kesari signifies the colour of revolution and a story of valour and bravery of an unsung hero of India. It's a title that does complete justice to the film and narrative. There are so many stories of unsung heroes in this country that are revolutionary in nature," he said.

When asked if Akshay Kumar will headline all the films for the Kesari franchise, he confirmed, "There will hundred percent be more instalments and films in this franchise. And Akshay will spearhead them all. He's synonymous with Kesari and with stories of unsung heroes and their bravery and sacrifice, and he has done such a remarkable job in this film."

In another interview, Karan opened up about the controversial scene where Akshay Kumar used the F word, he said, "The whole point was to look the British in the eye and say 'f**k you' for what they had done. That was the courage we imbibed from Sankaran Nair's story, and it's the same courage we wanted to depict."
