Kesari Chapter 2 Box Office Collection Day 3: The excitement for Dharma Productions' latest production Kesari Chapter 2: The Untold Story Of Jallianwala Bagh has been palpable as it brought together Akshay Kumar and R Madhavan on the big screen for the first time. This historical courtroom drama, which has been directed Karan Singh Tyagi, stars Ananya Panday alongside the duo and has been one of the most anticipated releases of the year. The film's intriguing trailer had already set the stage for what promises to be a riveting narrative and the movie opened to rave reviews from the audience.

To note, Kesari Chapter 2 is adapted from the book "The Case That Shook The Empire" by Raghu Palat and Pushpa Palat. Kesari Chapter 2 delves into the life of C. Sankaran Nair and the harrowing events of the 1919 Jallianwala Bagh massacre. This film, serving as a spiritual sequel to the 2019 hit Kesari with Akshay Kumar in the lead, sees him return to the screen in the pivotal role of C Sankaran Nair. Opposite him, R Madhavan takes on the role of the antagonist Neville McKinley, promising a compelling on-screen clash.

After recording an opening day collection of Rs 7.75 crores and a collection of Rs 9.5 crores on day 2, Kesari Chapter 2 saw a hike of 29.64% in numbers on the third day of release. According to a report published in Sacnilk, Kesari Chapter 2 minted Rs 12.64 crores on day 3 (first Sunday) which took the overall collection to Rs 30.14 crores after the opening weekend

With a collection of Rs 12.64 crores, Kesari Chapter 2 has managed to beat Sunny Deol's Jaat on the third day of release. For the uninitiated, Jaat made a collection of Rs 9.75 crores on day 3. As a result, Kesari Chapter 2 has recorded the third highest day 3 collection of 2025.

Meanwhile, Akshay Kumar recalled shooting for Kesari Chapter 2 and stated, "Mostly actors use glycerin for their eyes to cry during film shoot. But, during the (emotional) scene and there is also a song...It is one of the most emotional song I have ever heard. The entire set was crying when we were picturing the whole scene"
