Kesari Chapter 2 today box office collection: Slow and steady wins the race but can Akshay Kumar's Kesari 2 surpass the expectations and emerge as a success at the box office? When it comes to films, huge openings are considered a great sign of a blockbuster. Kesari Chapter 2 opened in single digits, collecting Rs 7.84 crore on Friday (April 18).

The trade experts believed that the courtroom drama wouldn't open with a huge number and their prediction turned out to be true. The movie picked up pace on weekends but witnessed a dip on the first Monday. Akshay Kumar-starrer earned Rs 4.50 crore on Monday (April 21), taking the total collection to Rs 34.12 crore.

Taran Adarsh shared the box office collection of Kesari Chapter 2 for the fourth day on social media, mentioning that the film survived the make-or-break Monday. The trade analsyt stated that the numbers should have been higher on the fourth day due to the praises.

"#KesariChapter2 is decent on its make-or-break Monday, with urban multiplexes showing better occupancy from evening onwards. While the opening day benefitted from the #GoodFriday holiday, the Monday hold is a positive sign... However, considering the unanimous praise the film has been receiving, the Monday numbers should have been stronger,". he tweeted.

The Bollywood critic stated that Kesari 2 might receive a push due to the reduction in ticket prices on Tuesday. He said that this would give a boost to the footfalls.

According to Sacnilk, Kesari Chapter 2: The Untold Story of Jallianwala Bagh had an overall Hindi occupancy of 23.25% on Tuesday, April 22, 2025. The early estimates suggested that the movie collected Rs 4.50 crore on its first Tuesday, staying steady in terms of numbers.

Kesari Chapter, directed by Karan Singh Tyagi, also starred R. Madhavan and Ananya Panday. The movie has been produced by Dharma Productions, Leo Media Collective, and Cape of Good Films
