Kesari Chapter 2 Box Office Collection Day 6 Prediction: Kesari Chapter 2: The Untold Story of Jallianwala Bagh, a historical drama directed by Karan Singh Tyagi, has been the talk of the town ever since it was announced. Starring Akshay Kumar, R Madhavan and Ananya Panday in the lead, the movie revolves aroung the heart-wrenching Jallianwala Bagh massacre and the subsequent iconic court case against the British Empire. For the uninitiated, Kesari Chapter 2 is inspired from the book The Case That Shook The Empire written by Raghu Palat and Pushpa Palat.
The movie, which is the spiritual sequel to Akshay's 2019 release Kesari, happens to be Khiladi Kumar's second release of 2025. Kesari Chapter 2 Box Office Collection Day 6 Prediction
Given the ongoing trend, Kesari Chapter 2 is likely to see a steady hold at the box office. The movie is likely to mint Rs 4-5 crores at the box office today (day 6/ first Wednesday) and will be crossing Rs 40 crores mark today.
Akshay has a deep personal connection to the Jallianwala Bagh massacre, a tragedy that has been a significant part of his family's history. He recounted how tales of the horrifying event were passed down from his grandfather, who was a witness, to him through his father. These stories deeply affected him, making the film "Kesari Chapter 2," which portrays the massacre, extraordinarily meaningful to him. Akshay's aim is not merely to entertain but to illuminate a dark chapter of history that, in his view, has not been adequately covered by historical accounts. He believes that the narrative shared in his film can convey the true gravity of the events that occurred.
"My grandfather witnessed the entire Jallianwala Bagh incident. He had told stories to my father about this, and my father told me. I have known a lot about the massacre since I was a child, so the film is very special to me. The event has been etched in my mind always...The most surprising thing was history doesn't tell us what we actually need to know."
Akshay's call for the British government and King Charles to view "Kesari Chapter 2" stems from a place of wanting recognition rather than redemption. He clarified, "I'm not here with a begging bowl to say, 'They should say sorry'. I want them to at least watch this movie and realise the mistake. Other things will flow automatically from their mouth. The apology is bound to happen, it will flow on its own. But I want them to watch this film. I want the British government and King Charles to watch this film. They should see what happened. The rest will follow automatically."
