Kesari Chapter 2 Box Office Collection Today: New releases have arrived in the cinema halls, but Akshay Kumar-starrer Kesari 2 remains the number one choice for the cinephiles. Despite competition Ground Zero and Phule, the courtroom drama continues to grab eyeballs, even when it suffered a drop of over 66 percent on its second Monday.

KESARI CHAPTER 2 BOX OFFICE COLLECTION DAY 11

Akshay Kumar, who has delivered a series of flops, seems to have found hope in Kesari Chapter 2. Although the numbers aren't that great to boast about, it is still better than some of his other releases. While Sky Force managed to cross the Rs 100-crore mark at the box office, Kesari 2 is slowly and steadily inching towards the Rs 80-crore mark. Can it enter the Rs 100-crore club? This is the main question.

With Raid 2 and Bhool Chuk Maaf lined up for release, Karan Singh Tyagi's movie will have an uphill task ahead. Ajay Devgn's Raid 2 has already captured the audience's attention with its trailer, and the Thursday release will definitely aid its performance at the box office.

Coming back to Kesari Chapter 2, the movie earned Rs 2.65 crore on its second Monday (April 28). It witnessed a drop of 66.05 percent (which was obvious considering the Monday effect), taking the total earnings to Rs 68.58 crore.

Taran Adarsh shared the updated box office collection of Kesari Chapter 2 on social media. He mentioned that the film remained steady on the 'crucial second Monday', receiving a boost from 'Buy One Get One Free' offer on tickets.

With the 'Blockbuster Tuesdays' initiative, Kesari 2 is further expected to increase its earnings on April 29.

"#KesariChapter2 is steady on the crucial second Monday, aided by the #BOGO ticket offer. With the #BlockbusterTuesdays initiative - offering tickets starting at just ₹ 99 - the film is expected to further boost its business today. #KesariChapter2 [Week 2] Fri 4.05 cr, Sat 7.20 cr, Sun 8.14 cr, Mon 2.65 cr. Total: ₹ 68.58 cr (sic)," the trade analyst tweeted.

GROUND ZERO BOX OFFICE COLLECTION: FILM IS A MASSIVE FLOP

Emraan Hashmi's magic seems to be fading at the box office. Despite delivering an earnest performance, he failed to impress the audience. Ground Zero witnessed a drop of 70.70 percent on Monday (April 28), earning only Rs 63 lakh, as per Sacnilk.

The movie has minted Rs 5.83 crore in the first four days of release, according to the data obtained by Sacnilk.
