Kesari Chapter 2 Box Office Collection Day 1 Prediction

Kesari Chapter 2 Box Office Collection Day 1 Prediction: Akshay Kumar is set to captivate audiences once again with his latest film, Kesari Chapter 2, following his acclaimed performance in Sky Force earlier this year. This time, the spotlight is on a historical narrative that delves into a significant event in Indian history. Kesari Chapter 2, subtitled The Untold Story of Jallianwala Bagh, is presented as a spiritual sequel to the 2019 hit Kesari. This courtroom drama, under the direction of Karan Singh Tyagi and the banner of Dharma Productions, features a star-studded cast including R Madhavan and Ananya Panday alongside Akshay.

The film draws its inspiration from the book The Case That Shook The Empire by Raghu Palat and Pushpa Palat, focusing on the legal battle that followed the tragic 1919 Jallianwala Bagh massacre. Akshay Kumar steps into the shoes of advocate C Sankaran Nair, embarking on a quest for justice amidst the chaos of post-massacre British India. Ananya Panday brings to life the character of Dilreet Gill, while R Madhavan portrays Neville McKinley, adding depth to the narrative with their performances. As Kesari Chapter 2, which minted Rs 1.84 crores from advance booking, has managed to create a massive buzz in the town, there have been speculations about the movie's opening day collection.

Will Kesari Chapter 2 Beat Sky Force's Opening Day Collection?

While Kesari Chapter 2 has been facing competition with Akshay's previous release Sky Force, the R Madhavan starrer is likely to fail to beat the latter. For the uninitiated, Sky Force had made an opening day collection of Rs 12.25 crores.

Meanwhile, Akshay Kumar recalled shooting for Kesari Chapter 2 and stated, "Mostly actors use glycerin for their eyes to cry during film shoot. But, during the (emotional) scene and there is also a song...It is one of the most emotional song I have ever heard. The entire set was crying when we were picturing the whole scene"
