Kesari Chapter 2 Box Office Day 3 Prediction: Akshay’s Film To Inch Close To 30Cr In Opening Weekend

Kesari Chapter 2 Box Office Collection Day 3 Prediction: Post the success of Sky Force earlier this year, Akshay Kumar has once again making headlines with his latest release Kesari Chapter 2: The Untold Story of Jallianwala Bagh. Directed by Karan Singh Tyagi, the historical drama came with a stellar cast which also includes R Madhavan and Ananya Panday and delves into the historical events surrounding the Jallianwala Bagh massacre through the lens of a courtroom drama. To note, Kesari Chapter 2 is adaptation of "The Case That Shook The Empire" by Raghu Palat and Pushpa Palat.

Marking Akshay's first collaboration with R Madhavan and Ananya Panday, Kesari Chapter 2 features Khiladi Kumar playing the role of C Sankaran Nair who challenged the British Empire over the killings in Jallianwala Bagh in 1919. On the other hand, while Ananya plays the role of Dilreet Gill, R Madhavan plays the role of Advocate Neville McKinkley.

Kesari Chapter 2, which is a spiritual sequel to the 2019 release Kesari, saw a good hike in numbers on the second day of release. According to a report published in Sacnilk, Kesari Chapter 2, which made an opening day collection of Rs 7.75 crores, minutes Rs 9.5 crores yesterday (day 2/ first Saturday) which took the overall collections of the movie to Rs 17.25 crores.

Given the ongoing trend, Kesari Chapter 2 is likely to see a hike in numbers today at the box office. The movie is likely to mint Rs 10-12 crores at the box office today (day 3/ first Sunday) and will be inching close to Rs 30 crores mark during the opening weekend.

Meanwhile, Akshay Kumar recalled shooting for Kesari Chapter 2 and stated, "Mostly actors use glycerin for their eyes to cry during film shoot. But, during the (emotional) scene and there is also a song...It is one of the most emotional song I have ever heard. The entire set was crying when we were picturing the whole scene".
