Kesari Chapter 2 Evening Occupancy Day 2: Akshay Kumar's Film Sees 36% Hike In Footfall On 1st Saturday

Kesari Chapter 2 Evening Occupancy Day 2: Kesari Chapter 2 is one of the most anticipated films of 2025 for which movie buffs were on eagerly waiting. The patriotic drama is the sequel of 2019 film of the same name starring Akshay Kumar. However, for the unversed, the plotline of both the films are completely different. While Kesari (2019) was based on battle of Saragarhi, Kesari Chapter 2 is a courtroom drama revolves around Jallianwalabagh Massacre. It tells the life tale of C. Sankaran Nair who took British Empire to the court for the heinous crime that claimed the lives of innocents.

The movie also stars R. Madhavan, Ananya Panday, Mark Bennington, Sammy Jonas Heaney, Steven Hartley, apart from Akshay Kumar. The movie is directed by Karan Singh Tyagi while it is bankrolled by Karan Johar, Hiroo Johar, Apoorva Mehta, Aruna Bhatia, Adar Poonawalla, Anand Tiwari, Amritpal Singh Bindra under the production banners of Dharma Productions, Cape of Good Films, Leo Media Collective.

Kesari Chapter 2 Evening Occupancy Day 2

On day 2, Kesari Chapter 2 has witnessed a rise in footfall compared to opening day. On day 2, i.e., first Saturday, the footfall of the movie was 26.83% in evening shows, it is 35.77% hike in footfall compared to day 1 when the footfall in the evening was 19.76%.

Even afternoon occupancy, Kesari 2 has seen hike in footfall compared to day 1, however, in morning, the movie has seen a dip in footfall compared to day 1. While on day 1, in terms of morning occupancy, it was 12.67%, on day 2, the footfall decreased and stands at 11.68%. Coming to afternoon occupancy, the footfall was 19.76%, however on day 2, it has seen an increase in footfall and it stands at 22.91%.

Increase in overall occupancy will definitely increase the collection on day 2 compared to opening day.
