Interestingly, Kesari Chapter 2 has managed to beat the morning show occupancy of Sunny Deol's Jaat and Akshay Kumar's Sky Force. For the uninitiated, Jaat recorded an opening day occupancy of 9.6% in morning shows while the number was 10.26% for Sky Force. In fact, Kesari Chapter 2 has recorded the third highest morning show occupancy on Day 1 in 2025 after Chhaava and Sikandar.

Meanwhile, Akshay Kumar recalled shooting for Kesari Chapter 2 and stated, "Mostly actors use glycerin for their eyes to cry during film shoot. But, during the (emotional) scene and there is also a song...It is one of the most emotional song I have ever heard. The entire set was crying when we were picturing the whole scene"
