Kesari Chapter 2 Night Occupancy Day 3: Following the success of Sky Force, Akshay Kumar's recent release Kesari Chapter 2: The Untold Story of Jallianwala Bagh has taken the industry by a storm. Set against the backdrop of the 1919 Jallianwala Bagh massacre, this historical courtroom drama has been directed by Karan Singh Tyagi and is inspired by "The Case That Shook The Empire" by Raghu Palat and Pushpa Palat. While Kesari Chapter 2 has opened to rave reviews from the audience, it witnessed dip in footfalls on Sunday. After recording an occupancy of 41.71% during night shows on day 2, Kesari Chapter 2 saw a footfall of 31.16% during the night shows on day 3 as suggested by Sacnilk.

Interestingly, Kesari Chapter 2 has managed to beat the night shows' occupancy of Sunny Deol's Jaat. For the uninitiated, Jaat recorded an occupancy of 26.43% during the night shows on its third day of release.

Meanwhile, Akshay Kumar recalled shooting for Kesari Chapter 2 and stated, "Mostly actors use glycerin for their eyes to cry during film shoot. But, during the (emotional) scene and there is also a song...It is one of the most emotional song I have ever heard. The entire set was crying when we were picturing the whole scene".
