According to a report published in Sacnilk, Kesari Chapter 2 saw a good hold at the worldwide box office on the second day of release. The movie minted Rs 2.35 crores in the overseas market on day 2 (first Saturday) and took the overall overseas collection to Rs 9 crores. On the other hand, the total worldwide collection turned out to be Rs 30 crores

Given the ongoing trend, Kesari Chapter 2 is likely to see a hike in the overseas market as it is Sunday. The overseas collection of this Akshay starrer is likely to inch close to Rs 15 crores while the total worldwide collection is expected to touch Rs 40 crores today (day 3/ first Sunday) after the opening weekend. If the reports turned out to be true, Kesari Chapter 2 is likely to cross the lifetime overseas collection of Sky Force which was around Rs 14.5 crores.

Meanwhile, Akshay Kumar recalled shooting for Kesari Chapter 2 and stated, "Mostly actors use glycerin for their eyes to cry during film shoot. But, during the (emotional) scene and there is also a song...It is one of the most emotional song I have ever heard. The entire set was crying when we were picturing the whole scene"
