Kesari Veer Box Office Collection Day 2: Sooraj Pancholi, known for his debut in the 2015 film Hero, is making a comeback to the big screen after a hiatus of four years with the historical action drama, Kesari Veer. This film is directed by Prince Dhiman and boasts an impressive cast including Suniel Shetty, Vivek Oberoi, and newcomers such as Akanksha Sharma. The addition of established actors such as Barkha Bisht, Kiran Kumar, Aruna Irani, and Bhavya Gandhi further enhances the movie's appeal.

In the film, Sooraj Pancholi takes on the role of Hamirji Gohil, a revered warrior who valiantly stood against the Tughlaq Empire to safeguard the Somnath Temple. This project marks Sooraj Pancholi's first work with Suniel Shetty, building a narrative around Gohil's valor. The storyline, coupled with the film's stellar cast, has sparked considerable excitement among cinema-goers. After recording an opening day collection of Rs 25 lakhs, Kesari Veer saw a jump of 24% in numbers on second day. According to a report published in Sacnilk, Kesari Veer minted Rs 31 lakhs on day 2 (first Saturday) which took the overall collections to Rs 56 lakhs

To note, Kesari Veer has been witnessing a box office clash with Bhool Chuk Maaf. While Rajkummar Rao's Bhool Chuk Maaf minted Rs 9 crores on second day, Kesari Veer failed to earn even Rs 50 lakhs amid this clash.

Meanwhile, Suniel Shetty got candid about working with Sooraj Pancholi suring the trailer launch of the film and stated, "He's seen a lot. Now, he's got this second chance. Trust me, this is an opportunity the Almighty has given, that Mahadev (Lord Shiva) has given. You'll see it in the film that he's unbelievably good! Every time I see him on screen, it's like I'm watching Ahan. That's the kind of effort he's put in. And the same kind of love".
