Kesari Veer Box Office Collection Day 3: After a four-year break from cinema, Sooraj Pancholi returns to the spotlight with Kesari Veer, a historical action drama which has been helmed by Prince Dhiman. Apart from Sooraj, the movie boasts a stellar cast of Suniel Shetty, Vivek Oberoi, Akanksha Sharma, Barkha Bisht, Kiran Kumar, Aruna Irani, and Bhavya Gandhi. To note, this happens to be Sooraj's first attempt at the historical action genre.

In Kesari Veer, Sooraj Pancholi portrays the role of Hamirji Gohil, a legendary warrior who bravely opposed the Tughlaq Empire to protect the Somnath Temple. This role marks Soorak's first collaboration with Suniel Shetty, weaving a compelling tale of Gohil's heroism. The combination of a captivating storyline and a formidable cast lineup has ignited significant anticipation among movie enthusiasts. After opening to average reviews from the audience and critics, Kesari Veer made a collection of Rs 31 lakhs on day 2 (first Saturday) followed by a collection of Rs 36 lakhs on day 3 (first Sunday) following which the overall collection of the movie stands at Rs 92 lakhs after the opening weekend

To note, Kesari Veer has been witnessing a box office clash with Bhool Chuk Maaf. While Rajkummar Rao's Bhool Chuk Maaf minted Rs 11.25 crores on second day, Kesari Veer failed to earn even Rs 40 lakhs amid this clash and is facing a tough time to survive at the box office.

Meanwhile, Suniel Shetty got candid about working with Sooraj Pancholi during the trailer launch of the film and stated, "He's seen a lot. Now, he's got this second chance. Trust me, this is an opportunity the Almighty has given, that Mahadev (Lord Shiva) has given. You'll see it in the film that he's unbelievably good! Every time I see him on screen, it's like I'm watching Ahan. That's the kind of effort he's put in. And the same kind of love".
